As a health coach, I guide, mentor, and empower you by providing ongoing support as you set goals and make sustainable changes that improve your overall health and happiness. As your Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I listen carefully to your needs. Together, we’ll navigate the world of contradictory nutrition and health advice to explore what truly works for you. I offer three different health coaching programs listed below.
I trained at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City, the largest nutrition school in the world. I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories – Ayurveda, gluten-free, Paleo, raw, vegan, macrobiotics, and everything in between.
As a Heath Coach, I support individuals and groups of people in making nutritional and lifestyle changes to improve their health, sort of like a personal trainer for physical fitness. Health Coaches and Doctors have the same goals but different tools. They both want to help people feel better. One may offer solutions through pharmaceutical drugs and surgery, I may offer solutions through nutrition and lifestyle. The endpoint is helping people feel better.

I always was fascinated by nutrition. During the same year as my "great awakening" I also finally won the battle over an eating disorder. I realized that if I eat real and healthy food, than I never had to worry about what I ate (plus, to me healthy food and home cooking tasted much better than processed stuff). I had previously been obsessed with working out and going to the gym. I would go everyday, sometimes twice a day for two hours or more. During this transformation, I decided to take a new approach to fitness. I joined the hula-hoop group, a club at my school. The group was all about lifting each other up, no matter what skill level we were at. My hula-hoop group was presented with the opportunity to perform and multiple concerts per month. It was so uplifting and so much fun, that still to this day, I haven't gone back to the gym.
Post college, I joined a hula-hoop and dance team and performed all over the nation. I also became really into juicing, superfoods, vegan recipes, and learning about food benefits. Suddenly I noticed that I started having these random bouts of anger. My gut told me that I should keep a food diary to see if there was any correlation to my anger and the food I ate. The findings..the ONLY times I ate meat were the times I got angry! I became vegetarian almost instantly, and I was astonished at how much it helped me. I went from anger outbursts 3-5 times a week to ZERO. This boggled my mind. But, I wasn't done there. After the anger, came the panic attacks. I started having around 4-6 panic attacks a week. I also started getting extreme mood swings and couldn't explain where they were coming from. I sought professional help from my psychologist and I also started practicing yoga. I had a very strong intuitive hit that if I do yoga everyday, my panic attacks would go away. Starting with 40 days of yoga in a row, my panic attacks dropped to ZERO (plus I felt amazing)!!! Now, I have completed a 365 day challenge and am onto 1000 days.
Seeing how much nutrition, fitness, and health changed my life, my health interest kept expanding. Every time I learned something new about health, I got so excited (and still do). A few years later, I received my my Health Coaching license in Holistic Integrative Nutrition from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. My goal now, is to help people accomplish their health goals and transform their life through health, just as it helped me transform mine.
